Ashley Hull
Born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina, Ashley now proudly calls Statesville home, where he lives with his wife, and their two children. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and lifelong learning.
A United States Navy veteran, Ashley served aboard the USS George Washington (CVN-73) aircraft carrier, where he developed the discipline, teamwork, and integrity that continue to guide his work today. A graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a degree in Spanish Language and Culture and a minor in Religious Studies, Ashley brings a diverse background and strong leadership to the Providence Roofing team.
Before joining the roofing industry, Ashley worked as a home builder, Spanish educator, and for the Department of Homeland Security — experiences that deepened his love for people and service. Today, he finds fulfillment in helping homeowners across Statesville, Hickory, and surrounding areas renew their homes through quality roofing craftsmanship.
Guided by his faith and passion for serving others, Ashley considers himself “blessed beyond measure” to be part of a company that puts people first — one roof, one family, and one community at a time.
Thomas Critcher
Born and raised in Boone, North Carolina, Thomas continues to call the High Country home, where he lives with his wife, and their three children. When he’s not managing roofing projects, Thomas enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending quality time with his family outdoors.
With over a decade of experience in the roofing industry, Thomas has been proudly serving homeowners and businesses since 2012. His extensive knowledge of roofing products, installation practices, and customer care has made him a trusted leader in the Boone and surrounding areas.
Known for his friendly personality, Thomas never meets a stranger — always quick with a smile or a joke to brighten someone’s day. As the steady foundation of the Providence Roofing team, he leads by example, living by the words of 1 Corinthians 10:31:
“Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Don Ashley
A long-time resident of Morganton, North Carolina, Don has built a life deeply rooted in family and community. With a diverse professional background in sales, marketing, and business ownership across multiple industries, Don brings a wealth of real-world experience and leadership to the Providence Roofing Western NC team.
Don takes pride in building relationships and ensuring every homeowner receives the best possible roofing experience from start to finish. When he’s not working, Don enjoys quality time with his family — including his two children and three grandchildren — and making new friends on the golf course.
His people-first approach, business insight, and commitment to integrity align perfectly with the values that define Providence Roofing.
Claudio Betancourt
Claudio is an essential part of the Providence Roofing family, bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience in the roofing industry. From installations to repairs and full project management, his craftsmanship and attention to detail have helped shape Providence Roofing’s reputation for quality and reliability since the very beginning.
Originally from a small town in Mexico, Claudio came to the United States determined to learn the trade and quickly developed a passion for roofing. Over the years, he has worked across the southeastern U.S. — from the North Carolina mountains to the Carolina coast — perfecting his skills and leading countless successful roofing projects.
When he’s not on a roof, Claudio enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, enjoying a good BBQ, being active in his church, and following his favorite sports teams. His strong work ethic, positive spirit, and dedication to excellence make him a true cornerstone of Providence Roofing.
Mindy DeLano
Mindy joined the Providence Roofing team in October 2022, bringing creativity, strategy, and a strong background in marketing to the company. With extensive experience in social media management, brand development, and direct mail marketing, she helps share the Providence story and connect with homeowners across North Carolina.
Originally from Winston-Salem, Mindy has called Huntersville home for more than 20 years. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she developed a passion for communication and storytelling — skills she now uses to showcase Providence Roofing’s quality craftsmanship and community values.
When she’s not crafting the next great marketing idea, you’ll find Mindy spending time outdoors, tending her garden, or relaxing with her Labrador retriever, Salem. She also loves any chance to unwind by the beach. Mindy’s creative vision and dedication to excellence play a vital role in helping Providence Roofing grow while staying true to its roots of faith, family, and service.
Richard Hester
Born in Hickory and raised in the mountains of Boone, Richard has deep roots in western North Carolina. After marrying his wife, they returned to the Hickory area, where they now live in Bethlehem with their son.
Richard is a true outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with family. Since joining Providence Roofing in March 2022, he’s become an invaluable part of the team — known for his reliability, genuine kindness, and dedication to customer satisfaction.
His greatest joy comes from helping homeowners protect and improve their properties. Down-to-earth and always ready to lend a hand, Richard embodies the heart of Providence Roofing — honest work, friendly service, and a commitment to doing every job the right way.
Gary Hull
As Project Manager for Providence Roofing Carolina Shores, Gary brings years of experience, dedication, and a strong work ethic to every project. His positive outlook and dependable nature make him a trusted leader among both our team and our coastal North Carolina customers.
Gary lives in Carolina Shores with his wife, and and their dog, Bentley. When he’s not managing roofing jobs or helping homeowners, you’ll likely find him spending time with family or out on the golf course. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction shines through in everything he does — making him an essential part of what makes Providence Roofing stand out along the Carolina coast.
Tim Parsons
Born and raised in West Jefferson, NC, Tim Parsons moved to Statesville at the age of 13 and has called it home ever since. He and his wife have been happily married for nearly 40 years (celebrating their milestone anniversary in July 2025) and share a wonderful family with two children and three grandchildren.
With a background in over-the-road trucking, Tim has spent much of his career on the move, but his heart has always been with family, faith, and the great outdoors. In his free time, he enjoys ATV adventures in the mountains of West Virginia, attending Bible studies, and being an active member of his church community.
